Everyone please be prepared for 4th of July fireworks with your horses. There are many products you can give your horse if they have problems with the noise and light show of illegal fireworks, please consult your vet. Im told there will also be 3 public fireworks shows in Lakewood on Fri eve befor the 4th. For many years here near the stable its like a war zone of illegal fireworks for hours on the 4th. Usually there are many owners at the barn on the 4th watching over the ...horses. Sometimes people get very upset at how disturbed their horses are from all of this, remember we are all in this together so help one another and stay as calm as you can for your horses sake. A suggestion-If you are treating your horses with something be sure to DO IT EARLY enough bc if your horse is already upset some drugs will not work as intended and then add more if needed. Well it finally happened, the old office is gone Yay! Tho I realize it has many great and fun memories for many people inc myself it has been an eyesore and health hazard for many years from a barn managers point of view. Huge Thanks to the city of Lakewood for finally getting it done! Maybe a nice covered seating area behind the new office ?

Hi older Folks of our barn: I was chatting w Dr Lisa Pierson (one of our longtime vets at our barn many yrs back) just recently and mentioned doing a horse walkabout in the jump ring with old friends. Who would like to partake in my plan soon before its to late? Please sign up here if interested I have a few horses we can use for this but of course private horses are included if u can borrow or share. I was thinking since the ranch house is coming down soon before end of month possibly we should think asap. Lets figure something out

We had a great 1st show for Waylon and Brynn, and Capitol with Savannah. And a super 2nd show for Jody on Charm also. Im so proud of all of them for working so hard with thier new horses in a short period of time to go off to a show and do so well with them. Big thanks to Christy Nissenson for schooling them there and lately at home some also. And Thanks to the parents who are always there and so supportive along the way, tho we missed Nina most of the day this time.

We are trying out a new horse for lessons and he seems to be working for beg riders so far. Will see if he might jump today. He is very sweet and cute too!

Jump ring and rings behind office all drug and in great shape now

So today after 2 days being on the property Vivians 3 yr old new baby Carlos acted like an old sole doing walk trot and canter beautifully and as quietly as anyone would love to see or ride. I am so impressed with this young one. Congratulation Viviane on finding a fabulous kind horse with an exciting future ahead

So on Nov 1st I will no longer be the LEC barn manager and consessionaire of the facilty. I will continue with my lesson programs for the public and private clients as well as doing our holiday and summer camps and doing scouts groups. Our new office will be in the large box stall barn behind the current office. I will continue to offer pre payment contracts of 4 and 8 lessons at a time and payments thru Zelle and Venmo apps (I hope) in advance. We will not always be able to have someone in the office at all times, please bear with us thru all our new changes. So much to do when retiring from stable management! Many Thanks to those helping me! I will still be doing our lesson programs camps going to shows and horse training for all of you so dont worry about that.

Going out to try a possible lesson horse soon, hope we get lucky!
