Kiwanis San Clemente

My wife Lupe and I spent our first time together at the annual San Clemente street Fiesta. It was fun to be there with her. For the past 25 years I have worked the Kiwanis Club burger booth at the top of Del Mar. This year due to new county of Orange health permit rules which requires non profits to comply with commercial restaurant standards, and trying to work with the county health permit officer, the Kiwanis Club of San Clemente voted to pull out of the street Fiesta. Tuesday at 7am the Kiwanis Club of San Clemente will once again, the 35th year, our presentation of the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast at the San Clemente Community Center. There are only a few tickets still available to hear from city leaders, members from the various community churches and of course our Marines and Navy men and women stationed at Camp Pendleton. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Phil Yphantide MD. Ticket prices are $20.00 which includes breakfast.

The Kiwanis Club of San Clemente took a little time off from See's candy sale's to enjoy a wonderful Christmas party at the El Adobe restaurant with fellow Kiwanis members, family and friends. Great food, and good singing of Christmas songs.

Kiwanis Club of San Clemente is currently selling our famous burgers and pulled pork sandwiches, these photos taken before the big rush. So far the burgers are selling good.
