Today, our patient's dad shared this photo with us which was taken the day she got her braces off in 2019. To learn that he pulls this photo out occasionally to look at with his daughter was touching and reminded us how impactful our work can be and how fortunate we are to work with such wonderful families in our practice.

Dear Patients and Families of San Carlos Orthodontics, First and foremost, I hope you and your families are healthy and doing well. My staff and I have been well and sheltering in place which has given me 5 weeks of joy with my 4 month old son. As enjoyable as my surprise paternity leave has been, I do miss work and seeing all of you at the office. I would like to inform you that my office will remain closed while the shelter in place order is in effect. When I can reop...en my office to normal orthodontic care depends on guidance from the CA Department of Public Health and the CA Dental Association. Both of those entities have standing requests that all dental offices remain closed except for emergency care. I am closely monitoring the updates and I will inform all of you as soon as we can reopen in a responsible and safe manner. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns about your or your child's treatment please feel free to email me photos to [email protected], then we can schedule a time to talk over the phone or zoom as needed.
