The second week of April every year is deemed Dispatcher Appreciation Week. Each year public safety dispatchers answer over 240 million calls for help nationwide. They’ll probably tell you they’re just doing their job, but the truth is they are the first, first responder in a critical chain of survival during an emergency and we thank them for their service.

Today your #SanJoseFireFighters from Strike Team 2302A returned home over the Golden Gate Bridge after being deployed back on September 7th. Over that time 63 firefighters comprising 3 different teams, worked on 3 different fires throughout the State protecting people, neighborhoods, wineries and local businesses - We welcome them home and thank them for assisting our neighbors in need. #eldoradofire, #Creekfire, #glassfire
