Do you ever had a test of loyalty in your life? In what basis were you tested? Does it really matter to us these days? Certainly, time will come that the grea...test test of loyalty is not about marriage or friendship but it will be the Sabbath. Perhaps, some of us may not understand the essence of this right now but I guarantee you that history will repeat itself. I want to share with you this qoute, "The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve Him not. While the observance of the false sabbath in compliance with the law of the state, contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a power that is in opposition to God, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in obedience to God’s law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator." - EGW, The Great Controvery, p. 605.2 Let us not wait for the time that we will have a spiritual amnesia of the day we should keep to worship our Creator. Don't you know that "freedom" is a gift from God? And this gift is not added after the creation but it has been a part of His plan when He created us into His ...image or likeness. We are free not because we have fought and freed ourselves, but because that is how He designed us to be. If God, our Creator has freedom, so are we! Since this is a gift, we can't claim it as our own though we are allowed to use it based on our choosing, yet we have to understand the consequences or the result of our choices. Freedom should not be used to decieve, to retaliate, to threaten or to harm others or to harm yourself. There is always a huge risk of trusting yourself on how to use this gift of freedom. Remember, that in every gift, there's always a user's manual to get wisdom how to use it. Doing our own way always end up in regrets.
