Our ophthalmology mission in Jordan continues in partnership with the Middle East Eye Hospital, providing much-needed eye surgeries to patients in need. On day ...2 of the mission, our tireless team performed 27 eye surgeries, including 24 cataracts and 3 strabismus surgeries for children. Through this mission, we’re targeting 45 patients who otherwise wouldn’t have access to the care they need. #WithSyria #Syria10 #WithRefugees

The Syrian American Medical Society is asking for help to support our healthcare Heroes responding to the COVID-19 crisis in the United States. *SAMS Foundation will match your donation. * As many of our Heroes are becoming more and more exposed to this pandemic, SAMS has responded by providing some emergent personal protection equipment (PPE) as there is a shortage of these essential supplies. Our goal is to raise $200k. The first installment of funds will be used to purch...ase at least 30k masks, as well as other supplies. These will be distributed to select states that were hit hardest. SAMS Foundation will also be matching the first $200k, dollar by dollar. We need your help to procure more of these supplies and to help protect and support our heroes.
