To all my extension wearing beauties, a few tips on keeping your extensions and your hair healthy through this current closure. During these dry winter months hydration is extra important for your hair; especially the extension hair. Use a cooler water temp when you wash your hair since hot water can leach moisture out of our hair and skin. Make sure to condition thoroughly using a hydrating conditioner and a weekly mask such as Kevin Murphy Hydrate.Me Rinse and Hydrate.Me ...Masque. Spray a little Un.tangled Leave in conditioner through your ends before brushing and add a pump or two of Young.Again oil through the ends daily. Be gentle while brushing. Hold the section in a ponytail and start with the ends first. Work your way up holding the base of your extensions with your free hand to avoid unnecessary tension on the attachment. Take your time brushing and brush through 2-3 times a day to avoid tangling and matting. wear your hair in 1 or 2 braids or a topknot while you sleep and make sure your hair is dry before bedtime. You never want to go to bed with wet hair since wet hair stretches more and is more prone to breakage. Wearing your hair in a low pony or braid during the day can help alleviate the feeling of it hanging as it grows out and gives it some support by distributing the weight of the extensions with more of your natural hair instead of just what’s attached to the row. Don’t hesitant to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. Even though the salon is closed I’ve got your back. The health of your hair and scalp is a priority to me and I’ll do what I can to make sure you get through this with healthy hair and scalp! Much Love

Hey there! Since I’ve had some new followers and a few new clients who haven’t seen my whole face in real life; I figured it’s time to show some face on here. This year has been weird amiright?! It’s been a little scary, super stressful and a lot different than normal. I’ll be super real here and say it’s been one of the hardest years of my professional life but I am grateful for the silver linings. ... As many of you who know me know; being a hairstylist is a big part of who I am. Over the past 20 years behind the chair I have never been away from my craft for as long as I was this year. For me hair is not just a job, it’s my passion. I love, love, love, making people smile and feel good, and making connections with my clients truly is a big part of why I love doing hair. I also really, really love the art and science of hair. I am a hair nerd who has spent countless hours and dollars studying, learning, creating and honing my skill set and my art. I’m so incredibly grateful for all of the amazing clients I’ve had the honor to serve over the years and right now I’m especially grateful for those who have stood by me this year. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for being so supportive of me and my business; I’m incredibly grateful for you. Thank you also for the true connections and friendship. I feel so lucky to have you in my chair as we share stories and laugh, and cry, and share parts of our lives. I hope we get to see each other’s whole faces again someday sooner than later; but until then keep sm-eyezing over your mask and stay healthy.

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. This year has been a tough one but there is much to be grateful for. Thank you to all of my amazing clients who have continued to support me and my little business this year. I truly appreciate each one of you. Thank you for being part of my life. I hope you’re enjoying your day whatever that looks like. I’m spending today home with my hubby and kids cooking all of my fav foods and enjoying the beautiful weather. I can’t wait to eat a big bite of my favs, a bite of turkey with stuffing, gravy and a little cranberry sauce. What’s your fav Thanksgiving bite?
