The rain, wind, and cold weather couldn't stop us from having our food bank distribution today. Thankful for our volunteer Naomi and our Employee Yesenia who joined us in helping serve our community despite the cold, wind, and rain.

It's been a busy few weeks here at The Salvation Army Salinas. Here's a quick update *We are still providing warm meals to our Seniors. *We are still delivering sack lunches to various Homeless encampments around town. *We are also signing up families for our Christmas Assistance Program (which is filling up fast, so if you haven't called for an appointment, please do so). *We also have some of our Senior programs back (Zumba , Guitar class, and Line Dancing, whi...ch are all done outside, on different days). *Lastly, we are getting all the Red Kettles and Stands ready to place outside various stores around Town , so keep an eye out for them, so you can donate . Lots of great things are happening at The Salvation Army in Salinas, so stay tune for more updates. **Picture Below is of us loading up the Canteen with sack lunches for the various Homeless encampments.
