Lisa drove several of us from Salon Lisa Lisa up to the California State Capitol Tuesday to join in the protest to allow salons in California to open. (California is the only state not allowing salons to open with modifications. We had to do our part!)

Gratitude....a beautiful word that I hear a lot of talk about as I delve into mindfulness and heart centering in my life not only in these surreal and mind blowing times but now....always and forever! Just like all of you I have had the luxury of time to reflect on this word and what it means to me and how it feels in my life. Like never before I have seen the kindness of others and the best in humanity and while there have been a multitude of positive experiences to come fr...om all of this I would just like to hi-light just a few (see what I did there)....these experiences center around Salon Lisa Lisa and my team of amazing Hair styling warriors! I am deeply grateful for the love and support of my clients , who by purchasing custom color kits truly kept me going! Not only financially.... but because it gave me something to focus on, something positive. I am so grateful to those clients who sent me payment for scheduled appointments even though they were not expecting to receive any services....you are so appreciated beyond words! I intend to do right by you and the love and support you showed me! I’m not supposed to talk about the huge amount of house calls I was invited to do....a huge heartfelt thank you for inviting me into your backyard to do hair and be creative! Wearing masks and practicing being safe in public was a great exercise! It brought me back from moments of feeling helpless to be in my craft and connect with you all! It brought me back to who I am...thank you thank you thank you!! My heart is so very full! To my dream team.....you are the best! While I stressed about how I was going to keep Salon Lisa Lisa going not just for me but for you all....somehow I didn’t feel any stress or negativity from you and I can’t thank you enough for your strength and perseverance! The sisterhood feels amazing. We are a scrappy lot aren’t we! I am so proud to know you all and I love you like family! We all have so much to share with each other and we really have something special!! Feeling a huge helping of gratitude for my landlord’s kindness which I was able to pass on to my team! Happy Re-opening to us all! We got this!

I have missed you so very much, and I am *elated* to announce that our doors will be open Monday July 13th - by appointment only of course - and the Salon Lisa Lisa Team could not be more ready to serve you all!! (So *now* is the time to get on my appointment book! *My first openings are the week of July 20th*. Please text to request an appointment).... KEEPING YOU SAFE We’ve dramatically amped-up our sanitation procedures, and all of our stylists have been newly re-certified through Barbicide on current best COVID-19 practices and the highest industry standards in sanitation and disinfection techniques. - We will all be wearing masks and we need you to wear one too - no exceptions. - We will all be frequently and diligently washing our hands and we ask you to please do the same. - We’ll have copious amounts of hand sanitizer and social distancing - including while you are processing. - We are limiting the amount of people in the salon to 6-8 including stylists and guests. - Everything we use in the salon for your protection will be single-use or disposable. - Our stations will be sanitized between each guest. - We will have a shade canopy outside of the back of the salon for you when you are processing to minimize contact and stay in keeping with social distancing. (You can also process in your car if that sounds better to you). - It goes without saying that if you feel the least bit ill, please contact me asap, and we’ll reschedule your appointment with no fee. - We will have a no-contact infrared forehead instant thermometer and do a quick scan on you - if you have a temperature, we’ll need to reschedule your appointment. -All Salon Lisa Lisa Stylists will have a temperature scan at the beginning of the day and will reschedule if we are not well. We will be in contact with you by text to let you know when it is safe to enter the salon. So when you arrive for your appointment please wait outside or in your car until we text you. If you know ahead of your apt time that you will need any Eufora products please let us know so we can have that ready for you.
