Salmon Creek Ranch

This year's crop of purebred Kiko goats along with their mothers, out to graze for the day. The kids are about 10 weeks old. Green tags are the boys and yellow tags are the girls. The two Anatolians with them are Tallulah and Bear.

Photos from today of our two 2021 Scottish Highland calves. One on left is 8 weeks and the one on the right is 6 weeks. My, how they grow! Also pictured is the sire, down by the water trough.

2021 kids are now 8 weeks old. Here's just one of the big and colorful bucklings who will be available in another 4 weeks. 100% purebred, AKGA registration available. Four generations of tried and true, field-raised genetics.

Love the patience these dogs show. Imagine being trampled by a herd of hungry goats and liking it.....

Our 2021 goat kids are HERE! All born between 2/24/21 and 3/16/21. Twenty-eight little bundles of joy (and energy!). Wait till you see them all on the seesaw!

Taken from the highest point on Salmon Creek Ranch yesterday eve, when the Jenner fire first broke out. The ranch is 400 acres and located between Salmon Creek Rd. and Bay Hill Rd., on the border between Bodega and Bodega Bay.

Yesterday was opening day at the Bodega Bay Farmers Market in the COVID-19 era. Note protective fence and mask. Was a beautiful day on the coast and great to se...e people out enjoying the sun. The beaches and even the turnouts are all still closed along Hwy 1 in Sonoma County, so people don't have a lot of options right now. I think some of them saw the farmers market signs and decided to turn in there. Thank you to Diana Bundy and her crew for organizing this small, but well stocked market. The Bodega Bay Farmers Market meets on Sundays from 10am until 2pm at the Community Center on Hwy 1, on the north side of town. See more
