Happy Friday! With World Polio Day fast approaching, many have asked about a Ride To End Polio. Unfortunately, with the COVID 19, such an event is unlikely. BUT, we do have options! We have come up with a Ride In Place event. Actually it is a Ride, Run, Walk. So if you have a stationary bike, step master, tredmill or a SAFE place to Ride, Run, or walk, you can participate. Attached is the flyer. This event will start October 1 and Cumulate on World Polio Day, Oct 24. The i...dea is to have friends, relatives, neighbors sponsor your minutes, miles or just make a 1 time donation to your efforts. Also, it would be great if you could take a photo or short video of your Ride, Run or walk to be posted on the District Facebook page. Rotarians Making An Impact: Fellow Rotarian Anna Foglia of Sun Street Centers appreciates the annual donations by Rotarians to their Dress for Success clothing drive. This clothing helps those in recovery have their best foot forward when reentering the workforce. It's not too late! The drive ends tomorrow 9/18/2020.

Since the River Fire started just a Mile or so from the restaurant...we have wanted to take our food truck to their basecamp to feed these brave men and women, ...but we decided against it so we wouldn't take up valuable space and unnecessary traffic...so this is just a Small Gesture compared to what these men and women put on the line every day dealing with these Wildfires.
