Today is World Pediatric Bone and Joint Day: We’re highlighting one of our pediatric patients, Leilani, she had an injury rendering a distal fibular fracture back in June of this year. Although a non-weight bearing structure, she came in with pain, ankle instability, and a lot of apprehension to full loading down her leg, causing an antalgic gait pattern. - Since then she has normalized her walking, and has restored the confidence to comfortably jog, jump, and land to return to her dance activities! #worldpediatricboneandjointday
