Pulling down your mask below your nose or above your chin renders the mask basically useless. You can still inhale the virus through your nose or exhale viral particles and spread them to other people through your nose. Thank you for remembering to wear your mask correctly in and around Salinas Family Practice during your entire visit. ... We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us keep all our patients and staff safe.

We apologize for any inconveniences but due to safety measures and space needed for distancing we need to limit the amount of people inside the office. We understand there are special circumstances, so please call ahead if you require special assistance during your visit. For bragging rights, let’s see if you can guess the amount of chairs we have in our waiting room. If you’re currently IN the waiting room, you have the advantage of being able to count them! We’re trying to keep all our patients at a safe distance from each other, so we’ve removed some of the chairs. Other than waiting in the waiting room with the fish, you’re welcome to wait outside or in your car, just be sure to let the front desk know where you’ll be!

Welcome Back, Mary! We’re filling up her schedule for Tuesday and Thursday appointments. If you’ve been putting off your well woman exam...now is the time to call! She is doing In Office appointments and Telehealth appointments (for relevant issues).

Some schools are still requiring sports physicals to be done in anticipation of upcoming seasons. Check with your school or team and schedule now, as spots are filling up quickly! If your child’s sport is not requiring a physical, make sure to schedule a yearly routine well child visit instead. Preventative visits are essential!

Take note of the special hours Salinas Family Practice will be closed to better sanitize and protect our patients. We will be closed during the lunch hour from 12 noon to 1:00 pm. We will also be closed at 5:00 pm. Please plan accordingly and help us spread the word!... As a reminder all prescription scripts, lab orders and paperwork will be available for pick up at our pre check-in table located at the front door.
