Saint Andrew’s Children’s Center has been serving the Irvine, CA area for over 30 years. The Center is a family of professionals and parents working together for the benefit of the growth of each child. It is recognized as one of the finest child development centers in Orange County. Well trained professional staff create a warm, nurturing environment where children and busy families thrive. Our professional caregivers work hand in hand with parents to create a system of care... that ensures that children receive cutting edge comprehensive child development services and that families receive the support they need. On March 16, 2020, we were forced to close our doors due to COVID-19. With the hard work and dedication of the Center Director, Carolyn Jones, the Center’s amazing Board of Directors, and the Accountant/HR, Dana Hollinger, we were able to financially strategize as well as create an entire Addendum to our Parent Handbook, which lays out all of our new protocols related to COVID-19 and were able to safely reopen our doors on June 3, 2020!! Unfortunately, COVID-19 has led to financial struggles for many of our families, and it has also created a lot of fear in our families, despite our extensive efforts to keep the Center safe and sanitary, so our enrollment is only about 30% of what it was prior to the pandemic. In the coming months, our enrollment is projected to increase, but not nearly enough. We are looking for any opportunities for grants as it would greatly assist our continued daily operations that serve our families, community and provides jobs for our amazing 38 staff members!
