The Sophomore Class (‘23) are back on campus today taking the PSAT 10. Two days ago they were here for a special SEL session. Here are some photos from earlier in the week.

It’s Cancer Awareness Month here at Saint Mary’s. Today the wishing tree is available from noon until 2 pm for students to write and post notes in support of cancer survivors and notes in memory of those we have lost to this terrible disease.

Thanks to PG&E PSPS, we have a number of students working from campus today.

About three weeks left to finish up the Shea Center Kitchen remodeling and expansion project. New serving windows, an expanded kitchen, new restrooms and the folding windows to allow more air to circulate and people to enter and leave.

Saint Mary’s welcomed the Class of 2024 to campus yesterday for a special SEL session. Each group spent two hours in meeting new people, learning more about our Lasallian Core Principles and each other. At the end of the session they received their Class of 2024 shirts and Jamba Juice.

Last week’s Lasallian Days: check in (don’t forget your parents must complete the online student health assessment on PowerSchool) test taking and Brown Bag Lunch Discussion via Zoom.

Changes are coming to the Shea Center. In addition to the expansion and remodeling of the kitchen and restrooms, the old windows facing the cross have disappeared and will be replaced by a foldable glass wall similar to the Student Chapel (except without the water feature!!!!)

Senior Class - Friday Night at the Movies!

In small groups, members of the Class of 2024 gathered last week for an hour of reflection. Most of the students dropped by campus while others joined by Zoom.

In an attempt to get our students more physically active, we have some new clubs this year: mountain biking, skateboarding and an expanded climbing club. Also afternoon athletic pods are keeping our students engaged outside of the virtual classroom.

The new serving windows and expanding kitchen is finally taking shape the old exterior wall is now removed and the kitchen is looking huge!
