St Anne's Church 07.11.2020

Welcome to Monday Live Stream Mass--FEAST OF THE DEDICATION OF JOHN LATERAN BASILICA!

St Anne's Church 05.11.2020

Holy Mass: Thirty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time Powered by Restream https://restream.io/ Let us remain vigilant as we await Jesus’ return.... Do we live each day as if we were to meet God at any moment? As Christians, we know that this life is not the end. But we must stay awake and be prepared to meet the Lord, because we do not know the day or the hour of his return.

Holy Mass: Friday of the Twenty-first Week in Ordinary Time Powered by Restream https://restream.io/ Let us set our hearts on the hope of heaven.... Both readings tell us to use our time on earth to prepare for the next life. Saint Paul reminds us that we are citizens of heaven, destined for a glory like Christ’s. Like the steward’s position in the parable, our earthly life will end soon, and we must use our temporary material blessings prudently for our soul’s eternal benefit.

Holy Mass: Thursday of the Thirty-first Week in Ordinary Time Powered by Restream https://restream.io/ Christ is the Good Shepherd, who seeks the lost.... Jesus never ceases to seek out the lost, which could mean any one of us when we sin and lose our way, or when we think we have no need for God or his mercy. But when we repent, God always forgives us and seeks to draw us back to himself.

Holy Mass: Memorial of Saint Charles Borromeo Powered by Restream https://restream.io/ We are invited to live in service to the Father, and to be a light which draws others to God’s kingdom.... At this time of year, with all that we have been through as a nation and a global community, it is more important than ever that we shine like light in the world of darkness. The Gospel isn’t just Good News, it is especially now the best news. We know how this ends with Christ’s glory. But that doesn’t take away the necessity of living in the here and now, taking up our crosses, and devoting our lives to Christ and to bringing about the fullness of his Kingdom.

Holy Mass: The Commemoration of the Faithful Departed Powered by Restream https://restream.io/ As people of faith, we are blessed with wonderful collective memories. We remember God’s covenant with Abraham, Moses leading the Chosen People out of Egypt, Jesus celebrating the Last Supper with his disciples, and, of course, his triumphant resurrection. In a special way today we call to mind our memories of all those we know who have diedfamily, friends, acquaintances, people from our faith community. May the promise of the Resurrection console us as we remember our beloved dead.

Holy Mass: Solemnity of All Saints Powered by Restream https://restream.io/ How wonderful to celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints on a Sunday this year, this day on which we remember all those holy men and women who have come before us. The Church is a living entity transcending time and space and so we are joined with the saints and they with us as we strive to live lives that witness to our faith.
