Ami N., a Sage Oak Junior, has dedicated over 300 hours to Warm Up America. Ami enjoys crocheting to relieve stress while helping the community during this difficult time. The squares she donates to Warm Up America can be used to create a blanket or afghan for someone in need. Ami says that our communities may feel distanced during COVID-19, but that she hopes these blankets can help stitch them back together. Thank you, Ami, for upholding Sage Oak's value of service! #WarmUpAmerica #crocheting #giveback #communityservice #SageOakstory #SageOak #SageOakCharterSchool #CharterSchool

Today marks the last day of #HispanicHeritageMonth. Sage Oak's Senior Human Resources Manager, Yvette Quillopo, shared with us a recipe that tells a piece of her family's story. Yvette's family, originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, would bake a special themed bread each year to celebrate Día de Los Muertos.
