Safari Kid De Anza 26.06.2021

Dentist on-site- It was a wonderful experience for the children to have our special guest, Dentist Dr Alcaide .He demonstrated how we should brush our teeth and also how and why to take good care of our teeth by reading a book. Children had an interactive session with him and they were glad to get the surprise gift.

Easter egg hunt celebration: Easter is one of the celebration which kids eagerly look forward. They are really curious to hunt for the surprise eggs and their excitement can be seen in their eyes. The day started with reading about why we celebrate Easter followed with making a related craft. The day ended with egg hunt which is the main part of the celebration.

Level 1: STEM free style exploration of colors and light. Children learned to mix colors. They used colorful paddles and looked through them.

Level 2 - monthly science-sink and float- We started the discussion by reading a book where we came to know various things which floats and sink. It followed with hands-on activity where children were allowed to see and test objects which sinks and floats.

Librarian on-site : Children were overjoyed with the librarian’s presence and they sang and danced to her tune. The session started with reading preschoolers books and children enjoyed the interactive session with her. The music and movement session was amazing and she provided them with the knowledge of how important reading is and it’s benefit.

Level 2 -Stem-Pattern making and sorting activity- children had a great time in making various patterns with blocks. They learnt the concept of sequencing the blocks and making a pattern. They also did sorting by the color of the blocks.
