Good morning or Evening Wherever you may be in your time of day; Kick back for a couple minutes, grab a cup of coffee or tea and take a read at how this piece of work humbled my confident self. //Situation//: Kat saw a previous stylist that over-bleached twice in two separate appointments; the 2nd appt was an attempt to fix what had turned out to be brassy results. ***Her original goal was to be a soft blonde with a bit of dimension. *** //Hair Type//:... Kat has extremely dense, fine stranded and naturally straight(ish) hair. PLEASE NOTE: I am in no way shape or form trying to bash the previous stylist. I am simply relaying what was important for me to know what she didn’t like about her then-current hair and why she wanted it changed and how many times it was done and what was done. . Here’s where I went wrong 1) I never asked her for a current picture of her hair and the history from the past two years. This was my first mistake; you see, I had done Kathryn’s hair for several years until she went away to college six years ago. When she messaged me and told me that she wanted to make an appointment because she was coming back home She told me that she wanted what I had always done before she moved away. I figured Oh perfect! I know exactly what she wants! . 2). I didn’t clarify her first! DUH!!! .. The rest is in the captions !!!!
