The #Sacramento region is in a strong position to meet the water supply needs of people, but the #Drought Emergency Proclamation underscores the increasingly dire conditions in the Lower American River. Water Forum members are working together to address the conditions by collaborating with Reclamation, switching to groundwater, sharing water between communities and asking customers to be vigilant about stopping water waste.
