Jordan Pettit is a singer, actor and writer who plays the role of The Lady in Limberlost. After receiving her BA from California State University, Long Beach, she decided to go back to school in order to hone her acting skills, and has since been cast in various productions. Her notable roles include Queen Aida in What Is Smart?, Enid in the web series Z-Joined, and Sob Sister in Radium Girls. In addition to acting, her time at SAC has led her to find a passion for writing, a...nd several of her plays and skits have been performed, including Trapped in Patrick Stewart’s Bathroom, Who Even Invited You?, Jack Wilson, CIA, and Aural Fixation. However, her first passion is music. She’s been singing for over 12 years as both a solo artist and in choirs, and she’s performed in several world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York City and St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. However, her proudest moment as a singer remains when she sang with the Swedish metal band Dark Tranquillity for 2 shows in 2018, and she hopes to sing with them again after the pandemic. About her role in Limberlost: The moment I was cast as The Lady, I knew it was a perfect fit for me. She’s a really mysterious character, definitely more of a god or a spirit than a human, and she adds a very supernatural element to the musical, while at the same time providing lighthearted moments to a heavy plot. I hope everyone enjoys watching her as much as I enjoyed bringing her to life!
