In an effort to make things as streamlined as possible we have converted Nuts & Bolts into Canvas. Meaning you can now access it 24/7! All current clubs have been put into transition on Hornet Hub for you to update following Nuts & Bolts. If you are a new club, start with Nuts & Bolts and the rest of the process is outlined there. And the ASI Club Agreement Form (CAF) for banking is being converted to Adobe Sign for your Treasurers to start after your club is approved (this rolls out next week). We are so proud of our students, led by @sacstatenphc, in changing the narrative and gathering together as a community this morning. They spent a few hours cleaning up trash and debris around the State Capitol and Cesar Chavez Park. A few of our staff went out with them and it brought so much joy to us to be around these brilliant, beautiful, caring, and committed leaders again, away from a computer screen. Today our SO&L team and millions of people across the world are wearing denim with a purpose, support survivors, and educate themselves and others about all forms of sexual violence in recognition of Denim Day . The campaign began after a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court where a rape conviction was overturned because the justices felt that since the victim was wearing tight jeans she must have helped the person who raped her remove her jeans, thereby implying consent. T...he following day, the women in the Italian Parliament came to work wearing jeans in solidarity with the victim. In 1999, Peace Over Violence made this a campaign a movement to bring awareness to victim blaming and destructive myths that surround sexual violence.
