Today, we are wishing our owner, Phil LaCavera, a very happy 70th birthday! Forty years ago, Phil opened the Magic Flute Ristorante with his brother, Anthony..., and has continued the family business with the support of his loving wife, Debbie, and their three children. His restaurant has been a family endeavor from the start. In the early years you could find his mother, Antoinette, greeting and seating guests and today, his son, Joe, is working alongside him. Often referred to as the "Mayor of Sacramento Street" for the longstanding friendships with those who live and work on the quaint street in Presidio Heights and for his warm and welcoming demeanor, that is also felt among our team and our guests. All who walk through our doors are treated like family, and we hope to see familiar faces soon and new ones too. Buon Compleanno, Phil, we love you.
