Today, we remember a beloved member of our library family, librarian Amber Fawn Wooton-Clark on the anniversary of her death two years ago. People who knew Amber recall her passion as a fierce advocate for those with disabilities and her extensive work with teens. Her legacy of accessibility and equity lives on at the library. This work continues through our annual SuperFest Sacramento event, sensory storytimes, We Speak library communication devices, and the teen room at North Natomas Library, which was dedicated to her memory last year. We miss you, Amber. We remain committed to making the library a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
