(borrowed from a friend's page) SCAM/PHISHING/MALWARE email alert It’s been going on for a while now but I’ve been seeing more and more people posting about it and I thought it’s worth mentioning it here.... Basically, an Etsy message is being sent from different accounts. The actual message text will wary but basically they say that they’re interested in larger quantities of items, they’re asking if you can provide them and asking for prices. The twist, they send you a file (requiring a password) to download with the list of items. If it’s not obvious yet, DO NOT CLICK ON IT! It’s malware. It could try to take your computer hostage, could install spying malware, etc. Whatever, either way, under no circumstances DO NOT download it. Even if it helps protect one seller, it’s worth posting about it. They even go as far as telling people that they’re an Etsy shop owner and wouldn’t send anything malicious and you can just open it with winrar. Etsy seems unable or unwilling to do anything about this (people have been reporting it for at least 3 weeks now) and some users will fall for it, so please share this warning with others because not everyone is aware of online dangers.

Hey teammies! The new forums & teams are open, and they are ... ummm ... VERY different! I don't know how many of you subscribed to the daily digest to get new team posts but that seems to be gone. I've heard there's a way for me, as team captain, to email team members all at once, but I've not found that tool yet.
