Studio happenings...Submersion (60x 48) alongside Gordon Studer’s new series of smaller works.

Back into the rabbit hole...

The Eames Interplay series are small works (17 x 17 in.) using similar mixed-media techniques as the larger paintings. This multi-level process begins with a painting on panel substrate and then architectural details of the Eames House are laser-etched into the paintings exposing the layers beneath. Suspended wires hover over the paintings which reference the architecture and construction detail of the building. The layers are then assembled into a white gallery frame with a custom acrylic mat system developed by the artist. Installation hardware allows for rotation into any desired orientation and configuration. https://www.ryanbucko.com/interplay
