#2 on the list of healthiest apples is another one I hadn't heard of before either... The Pendragon apple has a pink to reddish flesh. It lowers cholesterol and inflammation in the body. Take a look at the inside! Amazing... @mylifemd #happiness #youthfulness #longevity

It looks like because of the unwillingness to use masks and increasing socialization, the projections for good control of the coronavirus have changed and the pandemic and deaths from the pandemic will continue on past the original August projection. My question to everyone out there is which civil liberty are you fighting for, the freedom to wear a mask or your freedom to live? @mylifemd #happiness #youthfulness #longevity

#3 on our top healthiest apples list is the Red Delicious. Because it looks so delicious, it is no surprise that most of the health benefit in this apple lies in its beautiful skin! The skin is rich in anthocyanins which are antioxidants at the highest levels which is supported by the American Chemical society. This of course implies it is a great apple for cancer prevention. It also contains high levels of polyphenols which have been time and again associated with increased longevity. @mylifemd #longevity #happiness #youthfulness

An apple a day!...Coming in at #4 on our Healthiest apples list is the Northern Spy. I know, I hadn't heard of this one either, but it is very rich in fiber, especially one called pectin which is good for cholesterol and slows glucose metabolism for diabetics. @mylifemd #happiness #youthfulness #longevity

At 5th and 6th place on healthiest apples are Fuji apples: Fuji is my personal favorite as they are delicious! They contain bioflavinoids which help to prevent cancer and heart disease and have good amounts of fiber. Gala apples also contain these same ingredients, but are slightly lower in calories at about 65-70 calories for a medium apple while fuji apples being a bit sweeter contain a few more calories about 85 for a medium apple. @mylifemd #happiness #youthfulness #longevity

#7 of our healthiest apples list: Braeburn apples are good for cholesterol and also are low in calories at 80 calories per apple. The redder ones are better because they have been more exposed to the sun and contain more nutrients. @mylifemd #happiness #youthfulness #longevity

Sweet Tooth Snack Secrets: Broil a banana on the top shelf of your stove between 4-6 minutes for a creme-brulee type snack at 100 calories. Delicious and won't kill your diet, the natural sugars from the banana caramelize just like with brulee. Add a pat of butter, if you want a little richer flavor or maybe just a touch of honey or cinammon.

In order to change a behavior, plan ahead as to what you will do instead. Remember that thoughts lead to behaviors.
