Guys, meet Sheri! She is a woman who has come a long way! You can see her progress through the physical. However, what you don’t see enough is Sheri's mental toughness. The strong foundation she’s been building throughout her transformation journey. Not everyone has it, not everyone can obtain it. Which is why at Real World Wellness, we offer a customized 30-day program for free. During the 30 days, a lot of things may change, but our values remain the same. That is to have a... successful journey through health and fitness. At Real World Wellness, we put a lot of time and dedication towards the people we work with. Many of us want to change for the better, but lack the qualities that help us succeed. As for Sheri, she had all the necessary values to overcome her roadblocks and unlock her full potential. Communication Commitment Curiosity Openness Willingness To Win. With those values and hiring me as a personal coach, she’s been continuing to raise the bar, give it her all every day, and live a healthy lifestyle. "Am I going to have to do this forever?" That is a question I have been asked by pretty much every client I have worked with. And the unsexy but REAL answer is.............. YES!... If you want to be in great mental and physical shape forever, you are going to have to make your health a priority for the rest of your life. It’s sort of a no-brainer, but it can still be discouraging to hear especially if prioritizing your wellness is not easy or second nature for you right now. But remember this: The longer you do something, the easier it gets! For example, your job is easier now than when you first started it. Not because there's less effort involved, but because you've become more comfortable with how to properly & effectively do your job. A healthy lifestyle is the same! The more you exercise, the more you prioritize nutrition, the more you spend time meditating, the easier (and more comfortable) it becomes to continue doing those things especially once you start to see and feel positive results. The sooner you can accept that this healthy lifestyle is worth working for, the sooner you can escape the need for short-term motivation and start trusting the long-term process. It is not the sexiest answer It is not something supplement companies can you sell in a magic bottle for $49.99. Supplement companies cannot sell you hope, education, or the real truth. Real coaches can. And most importantly, believing in yourself. Because without believing in yourself and trusting the process, this will have NO purpose. For you, your friends, your families, your mindset, and your overall enjoyment in life can feed off of. But it's the truth. And if you want help getting results and learning exactly how to maintain those results for the rest of your life, then click the link in my bio to book your complimentary consultation today. -Peace & Love Michael Quote of The Day: This life we live is a marathon, not a sprint. - Tony Robbins

There are 3 macronutrients 2 out of 3 we need to survive, the other, we do not... Our brains require glucose, not dietary carbs, and adequate amounts can be produced within the body I am not entirely anti-carb and admit they can be beneficial for certain individuals, including high-level athletes but that is not most people.... Most people are insulin resistant, which means their bodies are not able to utilize energy from carbs efficiently The best way to reverse insulin resistance is to limit carbs. And yet, the dietary guidelines suggest carbs make up more than 50% of our daily calories While fat should be limited to less than 30% The point is, there is too much emphasis put on a group of foods that we do not require and we are told to limit a group of foods we DO require! What's my personality outside of work? I'm an outdoorsman. Whether it's camping, backpacking, or sightseeing, I take every chance I get! I play the piano. I've been playing for over 6 months. I practice 20 minutes a day.... I cook. Even though @ireneec is a much better cook than I am, I consider cooking as therapy. When I cook, I always play slow jazz or lo-fi. It helps calm the mind and turn off the "monkey chatter" I read books & keep up with the latest studies. I'm currently re-reading The Four Agreements: by Don Miguel Ruiz. I'm also reading The Courage To Be Disliked, and The Airbnb Story. Where do I keep up with the latest studies? Pub Med, Ben Greenfield, Rhonda Patrick, Healthline.com, etc. Outside of eating my can of sardine, whole eggs, & whole foods. I typically eat @innout , Poke, & @ikessandwiches once or twice a week. Tapping into the reward system outside of the house helps me maintain a healthy lifestyle. What do I enjoy watching? Psychology videos from YouTube, documentaries, animated movies, and movies that stick. Soul, Lady Bird, and Into The Wild are movies I recently enjoyed watching I'm obsessed with Sudoku! I recently started playing last week. I typically catch myself playing 1-3 games each day. I shoot hoops. I practice a total of 23 points (of course, Michael Jordan's number for influence). Either 1 point from the free-throw line or two points from the three-point line. Since I snowboarding goofy and regular, I've been practicing shooting the ball from both arms. I guess I never knew I was somewhat ambidextrous I wake up at 5 am. There's something about everyone still being asleep that helps me with my morning rituals. Which is an ice-cold shower, 10 min meditation, a walk, and prioritizing self-care What do I look forward to in the future? Irene’s birthday trip to Yosemite. Our future trip to Japan Helping more businessmen build a healthy lifestyle & Living the sprinter van life What’s something interesting people don’t know about you? Share it with me below

How sleep affects our hormones A poor night's sleep can throw things out of whack... After just one night of poor sleep: GHRELIN is the hormone that signals WE ARE HUNGRY - this increases.... LEPTIN is the hormone that signals WE ARE FULL - this decreases. INSULIN is the "fat storage" hormone. Studies have shown that a poor night's sleep can make us temporarily insulin resistant, leading to insulin staying high. HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE is released during deep sleep and allows our tissues to grow and repair - less sleep = less HGH. CORTISOL is the "stress hormone" and causes us to store more fat and burn through muscle - this increases. All of these changes can impact our ability to: lose fat build muscle manage inflammation recover from injury perform at our full potential Quality sleep could be the missing link in optimizing your health Share and tag a friend who would find this helpful! Last year, I went on my first hike in this called Mission Peak. At an altitude of 2,516 feet, It is Northern Californias tallest trail. It took days, weeks, and months to finally hike this peak. Filled with countless excuses. Guilty as charged smh As I was getting ready that day, my partner asked me ... Are you hiking Mission Peak for the first time on your own as a spiritual thing? Irene made me think for not a second, but for minutes before I said yes. I love when she asks me question that yet has no answer to give. Anyways, I guess since it was my birthday, I was doing this in celebration of this thing we call life. How ironic is that? But when ironic things happen, that’s when intuition and synchronicity come in to play. What are the things that make you who you are today and WHY do you do it? You might have to think for a sec because we may not give ourselves enough time to sit back, relax, and ask WHY we do the things we do. What is the meaning behind it? Life is precious. It is far more than working, eating, sleeping, catching up with the JONESES, mundane, rat race way of thinking. Don’t be fooled and let society program you in that way of thinking. You mean far more than just being like everybody else. So if there's more to life than thinking like everybody else, how can we snap out of the norms? Start by asking this. What taps into your inner child? What dives deep into your soul that nobody else can understand? Do more of that. How can I help you tap that your inner child? Maybe you want to match your success with your mental and physical health? Or maybe you may like to bring more balance to the most important areas of your life. If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect with you and see how I can help. If this is all making sense to you, send me a message so we can connect. - Peace & Love Michael

Marketing schemes and big-time companies are always trying to sell you what you DO NOT need a detox, a magic pill, a cleanse, a reset button. Whatever they like to call it these days. NONE of that works. That is the truth! What works is believing in YOURSELF. Companies cannot sell you your soul now, can they?... Deep down inside, you know this too. You know another cleanse or detox is not the answer. If it were, you would not be struggling. What you need is yourself, a belief system, some compassion, and a game plan A game plan that helps you break bad habits and build new ones more in line with sustaining a healthy lifestyle LONG-TERM, NOT SHORT-TERM Your health is far more important than getting fit and ripped for a beach vacation or a festival. (I am SO guilty of this myself #growingpains PLEASE, don't dive into this rabbit hole.) You need a plan that sets you up for LIFELONG success. And that's the problem for most people. Making lifelong changes and building habits can be overwhelming. Even scary. Maybe because it is something new - FEAR Worrying about people judging your - UNCERTAINY You're concerned about failing - PAST TRAUAMA We all have past baggage. Including myself What I can tell you is you are always good enough and you always deserve more to live the life you want to live But remember > > > > > > > > > > you have time Rome, The Egyptian Pyramids, The Eiffel Tower, nor your home was built in one day! You do not need the be perfect. We are allowed to mistakes which is good because I guarantee you'll fuck up multiple times. Embrace our failures. Because without trying, without making mistakes, there is no growth to success. What matters is that you do your very best, learn from your mistakes, always get back on track. Ditch the detox. Chuck the cleanse. Rid the reset mentality. Instead Keep things simple Build habits & routines Enjoy the process along the way. Everything else will follow.
