About your acting instructor: For the past twenty five years actor, director, producer, teacher, business owner and best selling author Dennis LaValle has been turning out some of the most successful actors in the business. His studio, The LaValle Actors Workshop is world renown with students from Los Angeles to London to New York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, West Palm Beach, Dallas and Australia. He has trained academy award winner Brie Larson, Josh Hutcherson, Vanessa Hudgen...s, Anton Yelchin, Jake Lloyd, Victoria Justice, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Benson and Brandon Routh to name a few. A classically trained actor with a BFA from New York University Dennis started his career on the stage in NYC appearing in productions of Macbeth, King Lear, Romeo & Juliet, Faust, The Ghost Sonata, A Few Good Men and Jesus Christ Superstar with The New York Shakespeare Festival, Circle Rep, CSC Repertory and The Manhattan Theatre club. He has appeared on television on Criminal Minds, Family Law, Days of our Lives and Guiding Light. Some films include Bad News Bears, Anatomy of Deception, Bloodsport and Battle Force. Dennis directed, co-produced and starred in The Metro Chase with Jon Cryer. The film received worldwide distribution via Starz Kids and Family. He has twice worked with academy award nominated writer/director Richard Linklater on School of Rock and Bad News Bears. Richard hired non-actors for both films who could play instruments for School of Rock and play baseball for Bad News Bears. I trained all the non-actors and sat next to Richard at the monitor helping them through the films. Dennis is also one of the authors or the humor book A**holeology: The Science Behind Getting Your Way - and Getting Away With It. The book reached number two on the New York Times bestseller list in humor and is currently in it’s fifth printing. About your modeling instructor: Simha Haddad is an international model with over ten years of experience. She is currently signed with eight top agencies around the world. Throughout her career she has modeled every type of booking from runway, to magazine covers, to commercials. Top clients she has include Sketchers, Puma, Adidas, Infiniti, SKII, Macy's, Saks fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Rachel Zoe, Van Cleef and Arpels, Stella McCartney, Anne Taylor, Mac, Kevin Murphy, Gue...ss the list goes on. She has appeared in many Asian magazines and has shot for Elle, Glassbook Magazine, Lone Wolf Magazine, Singapore Tatler Magazine, Prestige Magazine, Rogue Magazine, and Solitaire Magaizine to name a few. Through her modeling work in places like Los Angeles, New York, Singapore, Bali, and Cambodia and so on, Simha has acquired a wealth of experience and knowledge that she wishes to share with the new generation of young and aspiring models.
