Double Whammy! Both Rustic and TVLC. The bears are out in force. Every night at 9:00PM (witching hour) we chain the dumptsers. Even with the chain on the tightest link the bears can open the lid just a few inches. They will stand there for hours digging out garbage. Then we started putting on a giant C clamp to stop that. But all fails when one of our guest pulls off the clamp and unchains the lid in the middle of the night. If you see this mess and wonder why are they not cleaning it up? We are making a statement for all to see with out saying a word.

Since July 1st it has been a full on sprint. Almot every Cottage Cabin, House every night. It seems no one wants to get on a plane or cruise ship and Rustic Cottages is a familiar alternative for a getaway. Being so busy keeps us out of trouble.

Sold out this weekend. Every cottage, house, cabin, room. It could not be nicer here at Lake Tahoe. It is going to be a very busys summer.
