The Fresno County Public Defender's Office organized a Black Lives Matter march Monday around the courthouse and police department to confront systemic racism, inequity and police violence.

Most Fresno County Courtrooms will be closed today and at least until April 3, 2020. Only emergency civil matters (Restraining Orders and Ex Parte Requests) and most criminal matters per Order of The Court. My mom, Rosemarie Rusca, just spoke to one of our Fresno County Family Law Judges. Health officials told our courts, we need to take drastic measures to quarantine. Hence, we should be open to the idea of continuing, because everything will likely be continued anyway. I'm suggesting to all my clients set in the next month to offer to continue. - Rodney "Jr."

Rusca Law suggests phone appointments if you are well, requires them if you are sick. While we are in the office working, we feel almost all legal matters do not require an in person meeting. If you are interested in moving schools, to another county, state, or country; come see us in the next month so that we can get an order by August. The Courts don't like children to change schools in the middle of a semester and these things take time.
