San Diego...are you ready for the return of USA Rugby?

Today we honor and remember fallen soldier and USA Rugby Captain Frank J. Gard. A fellow member of the Stanford Rugby team he captained two USA matches against Australia and New Zealand. Frank honorably served the United States in the Meuse-Argonne offensive where limited allied air resources required him to take vulnerable positions to identify enemy combat positions. Frank was killed by gunfire during the advance through Gesnes, France on 29 Sep 1918.
