All non profit museums are hurting! Good article from LA Times regarding the LA area museums that are experiencing what we are! We hope we can open sooner than later! https://www.latimes.com//coronavirus-los-angeles-museums-s
Before the Museum shut down, we had visitors who compiled a great guide pointing out locations to visit on a trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas! Check out this article, we are featured in it, and when they lift the COVID-19 restrictions, get out and take a road trip! https://americafromtheroad.com/los-angeles-to-las-vegas-r/
Because of the COVID-19 the Museum unfortunately will have to be closed to visitors starting tomorrow Thursday March 19th until hopefully Thursday April 30th! We at the Museum appreciate your understanding of our situation. We will keep you updated here on our Facebook page. Take Care Everybody!
Today we had the Bucketlister’s group from Claremont, California! One more item on their Bucket List was checked off!
We appreciate our Volunteers very much! Our annual Volunteer luncheon held today at Steer ‘n Stein, Victorville, California. Thank You all again! We are always looking for new volunteers to help travelers learn more about the history of Route 66 and the local history too! Contact the museum if you are interested.
Have you heard the news! The Museum will be open on Mondays again, 10am to 4pm starting Monday February 17, 2020!
Due to several of our Volunteers being unable to work at the museum and Monday’s are our lightest attended days, the Museum will be closed for the next 4 consecutive Mondays, January 20th, 27th and February 3rd, & 10th. Sorry for any inconveniences.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at the Museum! Each Volunteer has a stocking hung up somewhere in the Museum, see if you can find them all when you come to visit.
The Museum will be closed this Thursday for Thanksgiving! We will be open Friday November 29, 2019!
