Question of the Week: Atheists keep telling me that homochirality is not a problem for naturalistic models for life’s origin. How do you respond? My Answer: At ...the 2017 ISSOL (International Society for the Study of the Origin of Life) conference at UC San Diego, it was acknowledged by all speakers who addressed the subject to be a huge problem. Under highly controlled laboratory conditions, as opposed to real-life naturalistic conditions, biochemists are able to preferentially destroy right-handed amino acids at faster rate than left-handed amino acids. By this means, in a few of the many experiments conducted, samples that were 80 percent left-handed were achieved. However, when the biochemists extrapolated their results, they discovered that 100 percent of the amino acid samples would be destroyed long before homochirality would ever be achieved. For much more on the homochirality problem see the book by Fazale Rana and myself, Origins of Life, and this free online article: https://reasons.org//homochirality-a-big-challenge-for-the See more

RTB Sacramento CA Chapter 01.02.2022

There is something about watching thunderous towering waterfalls that affects our soul like no other natural phenomena. Living after the greatest and fastest re...treating ice age in the ice age cycle means that we are living at the moment in Earth's history when Earth has the largest number of spectacular waterfalls. A special gift from God would you not say? I took these two video clips of the Skogafoss in Iceland 7 years ago. See more
