Job Opportunity: Patient Care Secretary (Sherman Oaks) Roze Room Hospice of the Valley has a full-time Patient Care Secretary position available. The Patient Care Secretary (PCS) is responsible for ensuring patient care records are maintained according to laws, regulations and the hospice program's policies and procedures. Maintains accurate tracking systems to review documentation and ensure compliance. Enter patient care data in program systems. Maintains confidentiality ...of records. Prepare reports and attend Interdisciplinary Team meetings. Education: High School Education or equivalent. Experience: Minimum requirement of one year experience in a medical office setting. Expereince in medical records preferred including EMR. Computer literate. Knowledge of medical terminology and regulations regarding medical records, confidentiality and HIPAA. Ability to demonstrate good organization and filing skills. Hours: 9 AM- 6 PM Spanish Speaking Preferred
