85% SOLD OUT! In an effort to limit the amount of skiers at Royal Gorge at any given time next season, we have put a cap on the amount of Season Passes we will sell in this early stage. At the time of this post, we have currently sold 85% of the allotted passes. We have high hopes and expectations that could release more 2021/22 season passes later this spring, summer or fall. In addition to being one of North America's largest groomed cross country ski areas, Royal Gorge is the ideal place for a snowshoeing adventure. Nearly 35km of snowshoe trails are now open for a physically-distant outdoor activity the entire family can enjoy together. Update (12/30 @8:59pm): Well, that happened much faster than expected. We are now sold out on season passes for this season. Child and Super Senior passes will still be available for purchase at Summit Station since we were not able to get those products online for sale. Royal Gorge Cross Country remains open daily for healthy, physically-distant outdoor recreation. To ensure that we provide a safe and comfortable experience for all of our guests, we will be ending our sale of season passes for the 2020/21 season before the next 100 passes are sold or on Monday, January 4, 2021 - whichever occurs first.

We are the largest cross country ski resort in North America and are open every day from 8:30am-4:00pm. Currently, we are operating with 67 open and groomed trails for a total of 83.4 Kilometers of skiable terrain! We have some great weather headed our way in the next couple days. Following the recent storm, our team has begun packing and grooming trails. We will be reopening tomorrow, 12.16.20, for passholders only. Then we will continue expanding terrain and open to the public at Saturday, 12.19.20. A full list of available trails will be emailed out later today. Royal Gorge will reopen on Saturday & Sunday for passholders only. Due to snowmelt, we are unsure of which trails will be offered at this time. The crew has worked to piece things back together but the snow is melting as quickly as they can work. Without more natural snowfall, we don't expect to operate beyond Sunday, so make sure you visit this weekend to feel your winter burn.
