Hello Rotaractors! Thank you so much for coming out to our week 3 events! The general meeting was so fun playing skribbl.io (pics of your master pieces will be on the newsletter) and BIG thank you to those who came out to play some BINGO with the Pasadena Senior Center! Happy week 3 Rotaractors Our general meeting will be this Thursday so come out to hang out and show off your amazing drawing skills . We will be playing Skribbl.io so let's see what you got! Hello Rotaractors, hope everyone is having a safe summer. We, Rotaract Board at UCI have been planning the direction of the club for the year as the pandemic is ongoing. The pandemic has made Fall instruction to be delivered online, thus we will be performing club activities online as well. To start off, we apologize for being absent as the pandemic grew more and more uncertain. There have been issues getting services events done through Zoom as our main source of service eve...nts were performed in person. There was a lot of uncertainty and we are sorry for being gone for so long. Rotaract Board has been planning and preparing for service events during Fall as well as potential bi-weekly meetings through Zoom. After being gone for so long, we hope that everyone is ready to do service (Service Above Self!). We will be updating Rotaractors about what we will be going on during the year through our social media and newsletter! (Instagram and Facebook) Be ready for posts coming soon! Like many of you, we read about the injustices of the inhumane murders of people in the Black community. We feel sad and angry with you. To those in the Black community, we don't understand what you go through on a daily or the hardships of your life, but we will stand by you 100% of the way. Rotaract has a responsibility to stand up and break the silence when fighting for inequality and discrimination. Please feel free to each out to any of us if you need someone to talk or rant to about anything! Stay safe if you attend protests, and make sure to continue quarantining or staying at home. :) <3
