Taxpayers beware! We have been notified by clients of scammers trying to contact them regarding their stimulus payments. Don’t get scammed. Scams take many shapes and forms, such as phone calls and e-mails. Many IRS impersonators use threats to intimidate and bully people into paying a fabricated tax bill or providing personal financial information. Please note the IRS initiates most contact through regular mail delivered by the United States Postal Service. The IRS will NOT contact you to obtain information regarding issuance of a stimulus payment.

Have you heard about the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)? The CARES Act passed by Congress created programs and initiatives to assist business owners with their current needs.
