No matter the obstacle Never quit being grateful for YOUR life and remember Rosie is sending lots of good energy your way! She misses everyone and is grateful for all the cards, messages and blessings being sent her way-they are working! Even though the journey is far from over she is motivated, positive & grateful! The historic and innovative location within Escondido’s community known as Rosie’s Café is saddened to announce that between the effects from the horrible crime that struck "Rosie" and the Covid-19 pandemic, Rosie’s Café has closed permanently. It is heartbreaking for Rosie and her crew to accept this reality. However, health and safety are top priorities. Rosie is grateful she is alive and strongly committed to her recovery process with a mixture of physi...cal, cognitive, and occupational therapies. We are optimistic that the future will continue to thrive at this location with the amazing community around. We believe whoever steps in will embrace, cherish, and positively satisfy the community that Rosie’s Café adores so much. Rosie is extremely grateful for all the love and support she has received, especially from the community. Her new motto is Never Quit being grateful for YOUR life! She sends a big THANK YOU with hugs, smiles and positivity to all of you. Stu (Rosie’s dog) says Hi and that he misses you all too. "Rosie" and Stu plan to see you all again, one night at an annual Cruising Grand celebration. Stay healthy and safe individually, and as a community! We are in awe of the magnitude of time, effort and generosity that went into pulling off such a spectacular event! Kaitlyn Rosie and I are forever grateful. We are also grateful for the kindness and dedication of all the volunteers, Rosie's Café staff, our loyal customers, the many friends and family within (and beyond) the Esco...ndido community, who supported Kaitlyn Rosie during her crisis. Dear Loyal Escondido and all our neighbors, Rosie’s Cafe is working on adjusting to the current circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 virus. Our main goal is to keep the health and safety of our employees, customers, and local community as our top priority. With that in mind, Rosie’s Cafe will be closed temporarily as of, tomorrow, 3/25/20 and until further notice. This closure applies to all orders including our curbside To Go... Good evening Escondido and neighbors, We are doing our best to be safe, productive and supportive to our community during such challenging times. Life is beautiful and a combination of gratitude with self-awareness is crucial for success. We send our positive vibes around and will be here, the best we can for our staff, community and neighbors. Here are a few updates. For starters, YES, we will open. Our hours will be 8am-1pm every day except our closed day (T...uesday’s). Secondly, we are going to enforce take out service ONLY with a curbside pick-up. Thirdly, we have created a shortened menu with pricing adjustments to assist this new process. Fourthly, we ask that ALL payments are received upon order via a card. Fifthly, we request that upon pick-up a call is made to communicate you are out front, on Grand. Once the arrival call is received, we will identify your order name, vehicle type, and then we will bring the sealed take outs in fresh gloves and a safely wrapped pen to use for card signature. This is self-mandated to keep safety as our top priority. Lastly, please be aware this is a new system for us as well. We appreciate effective communication, patience and trust. We are being as safely proactive as possible for all of you and our staff. Thank you very much for the support! We are honored to be here for you all! Join us Monday, February 17th for a block party & fundraiser put on by Food Network and @chefirvine from restaurant impossible! All the proceeds will go to support Our Rosie and her family as she continues to recover from her accident. The party will start at 3pm and admission will be $20 a person (kids under 3 will be free).
