STREET SWEEPING ENFORCEMENT AND CITATIONS RESUMES MONDAY, JULY 12, 2021 During most of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Lake Elsinore suspended active enforcement of street sweeping violations. Street sweeping is mandated for the City to prevent pollution of our waterways, and therefore full street sweeping enforcement and citations will resume starting Monday, July 12, 2021. CR&R provides these services on all residential streets twice each month. A few important reminders...: Parking on the street between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. is prohibited during the times/days posted for street sweeping, otherwise, you may receive a citation. Sweeping operations may not occur during inclement weather (e.g. heavy rain and high winds). Residents can call CR&R (951) 943-1991 on inclement weather days to receive the updated information. For those who believe they have been cited in error, they can fill out the online form to contest the citation. The Cities of Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, and Canyon Lake have partnered up to invite and inspire our communities to come together to pick up trash in and around our neighborhoods. You can participate individually, or form a group with friends, family, youth groups, local community groups, and more. You choose when, where and how long you want to participate. During sign-up, place a pin on the Love Your Neighborhood Map of where you plan to show your neighborhood love by picking... up trash to help encourage others to participate. This is also the perfect opportunity for community service hours. Ahead of the event, registered participants can pick up supplies such as trash bags, pickers, and gloves at City Hall on Main Street during regular business hours (Monday through Thursday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday - 8:00 am to 4:00 pm). Supplies will also be available at the kick-off event on Saturday, June 26 at 8 a.m. at Diamond Stadium. All participants are welcome. Participant swag (FREE Storm tickets) and supplies will also be available in limited quantities.
