All 21 schools within the Oxnard School District will be closed beginning Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20. We hope to reopen on Monday, March 23, but that decision will depend on the circumstances at the time. We will update families about our plans no later than Friday, March 20. Below is the official statement regarding the case of TB (Tuberculosis) reported at Rose Avenue School (click on the Ventura County Star story link below): "The Oxnard School District has taken all measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our students and staff regarding the recent Tuberculosis (TB) exposure at Rose Avenue School. We are working closely with Ventura County Public Health as they provide a systematic and comprehensive approach to help protect students and staff. As always, student and staff safety is a top priority for our schools and all safety policies and procedures are being followed. Thank you."
