Dear RPE Community, We are in our last two days of school as you all know. Last week we took some pictures of the amazing award we won in 2020. Our little elementary school became the first school in San Diego Unified to become an America's Best Urban School in 11 years! Not only that, we won a "Gold" award which is a testament to our awesome little community. We just received our banner (we got it late because of all of the Covid stipulations), so we finally took some pictures last week. Really proud of our kids, our parents, our teachers, and our great little community! Mr. DeLuca

Good Morning RPE Families, As you all know, last year we won a Gold Medal Award as an America's Best Urban School from the National Center for Urban School Transformation (NCUST). https://youtu.be/vQhvml_e-70... As part of that award we were asked by NCUST to share some of the practices that we adhere to at RPE that makes us a great little school. Below is the hour-long video on Youtube where Mrs. Nute, Mrs. Prsha, and I are asked about our school. Also, this video is up on NCUST's website to be viewed by a national audience. Great work RPE teachers! Here is the link: https://ncust.com/equity-excellence-elearning/ - scroll down to Session 5

Good Morning RPE Families, Public schools throughout California are required to provide information about themselves to the community in the form of an annual School Accountability Report Card (SARC). These report cards provide a variety of data to allow the public to evaluate and compare schools in several important areas: Demographic Information, School Safety & Climate for Learning, Academic Data, Class Size, Teacher / Staff Information, Professional Development, Fiscal / ...Expenditure Info. The SARC, which follows the state's guidelines and document template, are issued each spring and focus on the previous academic year. A SARC is typically 12- 14 pages long. I am providing a link to an electronic copy of our site’s SARC for the 2018-2019 school year. Hard copies of our SARC are also available in the main office. SARC Link: https://www.sarconline.org/Sarc/Print/37683386040091 The 2019-2020 SARC will be available from https://www.sarconline.org/ after February 1, 2021. If you have any questions about our school’s SARC, please don't hesitate to contact me. Mr. DeLuca

Hi Everyone, I have been closely watching the Joint-Use Field being built and they are really making progress here at RPE. I wanted to share this video about the field again for those who haven't seen it. It is going to be great for our kids and our community! Here's the link: https://youtu.be/xK5TZqRxtbk
