Hey friends! I wanted to share how my new eating program and how living in faith daily is shaping up... First, I did get very sick with letting go of sugar and carbs...just for about 3 days... getting to the other side is so worth it...... I have tried encouraged self care and loving your self and connecting with your spiritual side... And I do forget to tap into a power greater than myself ... For me getting a coach and believing in the science behind understanding the human metabolism is key... I have shared that I am a recovering person... from many things... An Eating disorder that almost killed me and landed me in the hospital for weeks in my 20s... and Alcoholism that almost killed me and landed me in 2.5 months of hospital stays in 1986... I am forever grateful that my higher power has lead me to many solutions... When the shutdown for COVID-19 happened on March 16th for me, I hit a new bottom behind a terror that I know I was not alone with. I did not drink, I ate! I did not exercise it off or get rid of the food in other self destructive ways this time... i just sat with my fear, stopped relying on my God, stopped my practice of faith and hope and I sunk to a new despair...Lundberg makes an organic rice chip, gluten free, Fiesta Lime that I just craved... Among other health foods I ate my feelings away... Ugh! Until we reopened for a strange new way of business in May... Then I had to face myself and you! I had to work three times as hard for similar amount of money. They called it a pivot! But i loved coming home to my new love of crunchy pre-packaged snacks and numbing out in front if the TV... Fast forward many lost moments, 35 lbs later and I made a choice 2 weeks ago to let go of another self destructive pattern... I consider every pain and every hurtful thing to be a blessing in some way....God has always had my back...i just had to reach out and choose FAITH over FEAR! I ask for guidance and help in my life now daily...I listen to the answers...I beg for better ways, not my ways...and I am ALWAYS guided if I wait and dont rush in. Self will run riot...is not how I live my life today. please share your growth w us
