In 1910, George Henry G.H. Roberts established his corned meats business in San Francisco. Soon thereafter he brought on his stepsons, Henry and James Dick Dixon, to learn the business and operations. Henry took over as the boss and ran the business until his son William Robert Dixon took over. In the late 1970s Bill’s son, Jim Dixon, took over and incorporated the business in 1980. Today, Jim’s daughter, Deborah Dixon Ward, and his son Gregory James William Dixon, assist... their father in running the day-to-day of the Roberts Corned Meats plant, warehouse, and retail shop.
