RJUHSD strives to IGNITE a fire in each of our students by helping them identify their passions. As educators, we want our students to find excitement in the learning process, seeking opportunities to become wholly themselves. Does your student enjoy writing? Let’s ignite their passion in Newspaper, Yearbook or Journalism. Are they a born leader? Let’s steer them to ASB, Student Leadership or Speech and Debate. RJUHSD has something for everyone. Let’s ignite that fire and fuel students’ passion for learning!

The spirit and energy from our West Park High School students are the reason why we do what we do as educators and a school district. Thank you to Good Day Sacramento for joining our students and staff for the very first day that WPHS can welcome students onto their fresh, new campus! #WPHS #RJUHSD

The Career Technical Education program at Antelope High School provides sequenced career pathways that include industry related and academic content standards to prepare students for success in postsecondary education, careers, and lifelong learning. Students can choose pathways in arts, media and entertainment; health science and medical technology; engineering and architecture; and information and communications technologies.

"If the year 2020 has taught us anything, it is the value of human connection, of genuine care for others and, perhaps most important, it is about having tough conversations so that we can improve the lives of our families and our communities." Superintendent Jess Borjon's monthly article is hot off the presses at Rocklin & Roseville Today. Read more at the link below!

Known for their stellar swimming and water polo teams, Granite Bay High School has even graduated two Olympic swimmers, Haley and Alyssa Anderson. In need of updated and safe facilities, funds from Measure D helped to construct a 14-lane competition pool large enough to welcome student athletes from throughout the region for swim tournaments and water polo meets.

The Healthy Academy program at Oakmont High School offers a unique curriculum and exposure to the medical world, giving students a strong foundation to begin medical careers or higher education programs. Much of the hands-on training offered in the program cannot be derived from even our honors and AP classes. In fact, students have experiences in the Health Academy that typically aren’t available until medical school. In two of the Medical Technology courses, select students... are given the opportunity to observe EKG's, chemotherapy treatments, ultrasounds, open heart surgery and much more. With local access to the medical industry thanks to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Health Care campus in Roseville, our students are uniquely positioned to develop relationships and experience they’ll take with them beyond graduation. A new school year means a renewed focus on things that make us proud to be RJUHSD. This year, you'll notice fresh content on our social media - content to inspire, ignite and prepare you to learn more about the district we call home The 2016 passing of the Measure D bond allowed RJUHSD to collect the funds needed for critically important updates to infrastructure and facilities. The biggest change thanks to these funds? The fall 2020 opening of West Park High School, the si...xth comprehensive high school in our district. Initially, West Park will welcome up to 600 ninth and tenth graders while adding one grade level for the next two years. Are you a Panther family?

August 10, 2020 Dear RJUHSD Families, 2020. It’s the year of the unknowns. ... As we prepare to dive deep into the dynamic world of distance learning, we know that not everything will go perfectly. Your students’ teachers, administrators and support staff have worked together to ensure that distance learning this fall will be vastly improved upon from earlier this year. There will be hiccups, glitches and more uncertainties than we had hoped. But as we ride these challenges, please know your RJUHSD team is all hands on deck. We are here for you, through an email, a phone call, virtual meetings and more. We welcome constructive feedback, always, and we also ask for your patience and understanding, especially in the presence of your children. We know they are looking for guidance from their families and their teachers. Let them know we will get through this--and be stronger because of it. We are wishing every Grizzly, Panther, Tiger, Titan, Timberwolf, Trailblazer, Viking and Warrior a year that exceeds expectations! Sincerely, Jess Borjon, Interim Superintendent Roseville Joint Union High School District
