We have been tracking the AQI (Air Quality Index) daily, and due to an overabundance of caution have decided to cancel our camp training session for today, August 26th. Throughout this difficult time, we will continue to base our decision-making on the safety of our athletes and the community. Wildfires are continuing to threaten our beloved communities and devastate California’s greatest natural wonders. We grieve for the members of our community who lost their lives. ...No words can ease the loss we all feel. We have colleagues who were forced to flee their homes in the Bay Area and friends whose health is affected by the polluted air quality. We want to take the time to thank @calfire , the local fire departments and the fire crews coming from out of state to help us. California lives in our hearts and we must do what it takes to bring California back.
