Members, please note this is happening tomorrow!! The second Community Service Drop Off - Pick Up Event will happen this Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, from 9 am to noon at Kris Kerr’s home in Carmichael. (Her address is in the members’ directory.) You can pick up a kit to make a quilt top, a quilt to bind or quilt. Shown here are a few recently completed community service quilts that were made collaboratively by Guild members. The last two slides are our 2020 Opportunity Quilt & info about the Asilomar opportunity. Tickets will be available at this event as well. See you there!
Guild Members don't forget: Free Zoom workshop for Guild members on September 16: Kim Brownell is teaching "Scrap Quilt Ornament" Workshop - a fun class where you'll learn to use your scraps and make some gifts at the same time! You will be using scraps of cotton and/or fancy fabrics to make a wonderful 3" x 3" collage quilt. Adorn it with fun trims and embellishments, then attach it to a hanger. It is the perfect size to hang on your Christmas tree or display on an ornament hanger.
