Movement is vital for our children during these trying times If your child is participating in a learning pod cohort, or even a homeschool group, contact us today to add virtual dance instruction to their enrichment! We offer live classes on Zoom, with a group rate. Choose the class structure, genre, availability and class frequency that works best for your group. April is the Month of the Military Child! And we wanted to take a moment to celebrate these amazing children! When we began Rising Star Dance Company in 2015, it was our mission to create a recreational dance program specifically for military children in our community. What we didn’t anticipate was just how much we would learn from these sweet, resilient children. We’ve had the privilege of teaching over 400 children in the last 4 years. The majority of these wonderful k...ids have moved to and from across the country, sometimes even across the world, as one or both parents selflessly serve our country. Did you know, military children say goodbye and see you later to friends and family on average more times in 18 years than most do in a lifetime? The see you laters are difficult, but it makes the HELLOS so much more meaningful! We’ve compiled some photos provided by our dance families that show these moments. Moments of overwhelming happiness after a long separation, moments of what life is like as a military family and a military child. We celebrate each and every military child we get the privilege to teach We are SO thankful and appreciative for all the sacrifices made by our families and kiddos. Our hope is, wherever these children eventually go, a little bit of Rising Star Dance Company stays in their hearts. Because each of them, without a doubt, stay in ours! We love each of you dearly, and wherever life may take you, please don’t forget that!
