The Gene Haas Foundation just approved their FIFTH grant to Rise Up Industries since our inception! Haas make the CNC machines that all of our members are trained on to prepare them for sustainable careers. Thank you Gene Haas Foundation!

A big thank you to Union Bank for approving Rise Up Industries for a $5,000 grant! Union bank is a big supporter of our mission and recently created a fund to specifically support nonprofit organizations that are aimed at addressing social and economic justice within communities of color. We hope that this is the beginning of a lasting relationship with them!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Father Gary, Father John, and Executive Director David Canedo from The Saint Augustine Foundation. They presented us with a very generous grant to purchase our new Haas CNC lathe. This is a key component of our program, helps us keep up with increasing customer demand, and increases our capacity to hire more formerly incarcerated, previously gang involved individuals in our Reentry Program. Thank you Saint Augustine Foundation for your generosity over the years!

Thank you Sundt Construction, Inc. for awarding a grant to Rise Up Industries! The Sundt Foundation has supported us since our early days, with two other grants that helped us expand and equip the Machine Shop Social Enterprise. We are grateful for you!

Josue, our most recent graduate, suffered a heart attack over the weekend and has been in an induced comma the past few days.
