A Christmas message from Risco Insurance Services What Do You See? 2020 will be forever marked in history as the year of uncertainty. The world has seen global pandemics, quarantines, financial instability, social and political unrest, natural disasters, and political turmoil. When we view this year with our natural eyes, some of us would see a world of doom and gloomone where all hope has been lost. Some of us may even wonder, Will anything good ever happen in this world a...gain? What do you see? Over 2000 years ago, the world was filled with political and social tyranny, violent unrest, financial instability, and uncertainty. Yet, some men called Wise men were able to see beyond the chaotic world in which they lived. God had opened up their eyes to see true reality in the divine realm. They saw a star in the night sky, which they followed by faith for over three months. But what did they see in the star? The star represented a coming of the hope for all mankindthe Messiah, Jesus Christ. A Ruler, Redeemer, and Restorer that would bring certainty to an uncertain world. Incredibility after over 800 years, on December 21, 2020, The Christmas Star will be reappearing! I truly believe that the star is a reminder that Christmas was when God sent the world an eternal and priceless giftHis son Immanuel (translated God is with us). Jesus is the one who opened the eyes of the blind and allowed men to divine providence of the Almighty. When you think about Christmas, what do you see? Christmas is so much more than a gift exchange, lights, and colorful trees. It sees the glory of God in our lives and the daily miracles we overlook. It is goodwill toward others, whether across the street or across the world. 20/20 vision allows us to see our true purpose and meaning in life.
